Breakfast Casserole
Ingredients
12 eggs
2 cups whole milk
¼ cup diced onion
½ red bell pepper, diced
½ green bell pepper, diced
1 pound chopped ham
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese blend
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Steps
If you haven’t chopped your onion, bell peppers, and ham, take the time now to do so and chop everything into small pieces
Crack 12 eggs into a large bowl
Whisk the egg yolks with the egg whites until combined
Pour in 2 cups of whole milk to the eggs
Whisk the milk with the eggs until incorporated
Add a quarter cup of diced onion, the diced red bell pepper, diced green bell pepper, and 1 pound of diced ham to the egg and milk mixture
Whisk the ingredients together until combined
Add 2 cups of shredded cheese and season with some salt and black pepper to taste
Whisk everything again
Grease a 9 inch by 13 inch baking dish with some cooking spray
Pour the breakfast casserole egg batter into the prepared dish
Bake the breakfast casserole in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour
Remove the breakfast casserole from the oven when the center has firmly set
