Buffalo Cauliflower
Ingredients
1 head cauliflower
½ cup flour
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ cup buttermilk (or milk)
⅓ cup buffalo sauce
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon honey
Ranch dressing, to serve
Steps
Break 1 large head of cauliflower into chunks and cut each floret into smaller pieces and set aside
In a large bowl, add ½ cup of flour, ½ teaspoon of salt, ½ teaspoon of black pepper, 1 teaspoon of paprika, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
Whisk together to combine
Pour in ½ cup of buttermilk and whisk to incorporate until the mixture is smooth
Add all the cut up cauliflower florets to the buttermilk mixture
Toss to completely coat the cauliflower in the mix being sure to cover all the florets
Going one by one, transfer the coated cauliflower pieces to a parchment paper lined tray, letting the excess liquid drip off before setting down
Bake the cauliflower in the oven at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 minutes
Remove the cauliflower from the oven and carefully toss and flip each cauliflower to its other side
Return the cauliflower to the oven for another 12 minutes
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a small bowl
Add ⅓ cup of buffalo sauce and 1 tablespoon of honey to the melted butter
Whisk the buffalo sauce mixture together until combined
Remove the cauliflower from the oven again
Brush all the cauliflower with the prepared buffalo sauce, coating every piece as much as possible
Place the buffalo cauliflower in the oven again for 12 more minutes
Remove the baked buffalo cauliflower from the oven and enjoy with some Ranch dressing
