Green Goddess Dressing

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • ½ cup sour cream

  • ½ cup chopped scallions (3 to 4 scallions)

  • ½ cup chopped fresh basil leaves

  • ⅛ cup lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic (1 clove)

  • 1 teaspoon anchovy paste (or 2 anchovies)

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon salt


Steps

  1. Put mayonnaise, sour cream, scallions, basil, lemon juice, garlic, anchovies, pepper, and salt into a food processor and blend until smooth

  2. Serve with salad or other vegetables or refrigerate dressing until ready to serve


Notes & Tips

  • This Green Goddess Dressing would go perfectly over my Simple Romaine Salad!

  • You can dip fresh cut vegetables into the dressing and use it as a veggie dip

  • I’ve also spread some of this dressing on top of meat to give it some extra flavor. Note: if you use this dressing with meat, you want to use it with meat that is already cooked, not raw
