Broccoli Cheddar Quiche
Ingredients
6 eggs
2 cups finely chopped broccoli florets
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
¾ cup heavy cream
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 14-ounce pie crust
Steps
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
Unroll the pie crust and place it in a 9 inch round pie pan, pressing down on the bottom and along the sides of the crust to keep in place
In a large bowl, combine 6 eggs, 2 cups of finely chopped broccoli florets, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, ¾ cup of heavy cream, ½ teaspoon of dried oregano, ½ teaspoon of salt, ½ teaspoon of black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
Whisk to combine the filling ingredients until smooth
Transfer the prepared filling to the pie crust
Spread the filling smooth
Bake the quiche in the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 to 50 minutes or until the filling is set
Remove the quiche from the oven and allow it to stand for 10 minutes before serving
